Logline: Alienated dancer Cecilia returns to New York City to reconnect with juvenile high school friends and her crude DJ ex-boyfriend.
Micael oversaw the film from financing and casting through production, editing, color, and sound, with a focus on creating an intimate, character-focused story with a distinct visual vocabulary.
The film premiered in International Competition at the 35th Warsaw International Film Festival and was subsequently represented by Ant!dote Sales and released domestically by BayView Entertainment.

Writer, DirectorLogline: Set against the nightlife and art scene of New York City, Lily & Kat follows two inseparable best friends navigating the final days before one of them moves to London.
Written and directed by Micael Preysler, the independent feature was developed as a fun coming-of-age story rooted in the chaotic relationships and contradictions of being a 20-something in NYC. The film premiered in the Toronto International Film Festival: Next Wave before receiving a U.S. theatrical and video-on-demand release through Mance Media.
